The AppleSMC ABI reference in btop's src/osx/smc.hpp informed Vigil's
read-only SMC bridge. That upstream reference is licensed under the
Apache License, Version 2.0. A copy is included in Apache-2.0.txt.
Vigil's bridge uses its own implementation and names; btop itself is not
bundled or launched. Vigil's native interface is a separate implementation.

The power-monitor project provided useful documentation of IOReport
interfaces and Apple Silicon frequency-state table formats:
